Date Posted: November 23, 2022
From travel restrictions, quarantine, social distancing, and border lockdown to reconnecting with peers, social networking, and in-person meetings, there is no better way to cap this year than to support the CTBUH 2022 International Conference, Tall Excellence: Seeking the Ideal in Vertical Urbanism, held in Chicago last November 9-12, 2022.
The conference highlighted how tall buildings should be able to adapt to a changing world and set performance parameters that would lessen the effect of climate change through various sessions, presentations, and panel discussions.

Among the attendees representing ALT are Joe Khoury and Des Manlapaz, the company’s Principal and Managing Partner, respectively. For ALT, it was a reunion of some kind as Joe Khoury met long-time partners in the industry, such as David Malott (Founder) of AI SpaceFactory, Richard Lee (Director) of C.Y. Lee & Partners, Robert Whitlock (Principal) of Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates, Tengku Aziz (Chief Executive Officer) of PNB Merdeka 118, to name a few. ALT was also thrilled to attend the Proscenium presentation headed by Rockwell Land’s Nestor Padilla (President) and Davy Tan (Senior Vice President for Business Development) alongside Carlos Ott (Architect).
Hosted by the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH), the conference was an engaging and impressive event in this stage of the industry where sustainability is the call of the future. ALT will endeavor to innovate and cultivate its facade design expertise moving forward.
See you at the next CTBUH event!
