Developed by Sun Hung Kai Properties and designed by KPF, the International Commerce Center (ICC) located in West Kowloon, Hong Kong is a 118-story skyscraper that was completed in 2010. It currently houses office spaces, the Ritz-Carlton Hong Kong, and an observatory called Sky100 on its 100th floor, which offers unparalleled views of Victoria Harbour and Hong Kong Island.
With ALT as its façade consultant, its curtain wall features a shingled effect that emphasizes the subtle curvature along with the vertical position of the tower and is amplified at the base creating canopies called the “Dragon Tail,” that stretches around 12 meters.
