An integrated development situated in Shanghai’s Jing’An district, Jing An Kerry Centre is a multi-use complex featuring two towers, a retail podium, a 508-key hotel, an event center, and various office amenities. One of the most notable features of the site is a preserved house where Mao Zedong lived in the 1920s, making it a civic and cultural site as well. Designed by Kohn Pedersen Fox with ALT working as the facade consultant, it uses a medley of glass, metal, and stone cladding and seamlessly integrates itself within the city, thus creating another stunning landmark for Shanghai’s cityscape.
