Located in the Nihonbashi district adjacent to many historic sites in the city, Nihonbashi-1 Chome is a 20-storey mixed use development in Tokyo designed by KPF with ALT working closely as the facade consultant. The core and the office volume are distinctively expressed, clad in stone and glass respectively. Natural light is introduced into office areas by carefully modulated louvered shading devices. With a height of thirty meters and a distinctive curved shape, the Nihonbashi-1 Chome creates a captivating outline alongside its neighbors.
