As the tallest building in the country, Taipei 101 is a popular destination worldwide with its observatory deck that offers breathtaking views of the city. It holds a significant position as a symbol of growth for the 21st century in Taiwan. It also houses a retail mall and office spaces within the development.
Designed by C.Y. Lee & Partners, Taipei 101 is considered an urban hub reflecting a new lifestyle for Taiwanese people. The distinct design of this tower is its eight groupings created between its spire and base that appear as pagodas or bamboo stalks. The slanted curtain wall and tinted glass cladding act as a shading device comprised of a unitized system. Another known fact to most of our business partners is that Taipei 101 is ALT’s first supertall project developed by Taipei Financial Center Corporation.
